I always liked Picasso's art. Each and every-time I view it, I can't help but think to myself, even I could paint a picture that looks like that. Everything out of place, with multiple features and bright colors.
Now thanks to Mike and Matt over at Etsy, I now have a new found respect for Picasso and the cubist movement. These superheroes postcards re-imagined as Picasso paintings are absolutely fabulous.
Mike and Matt are selling their bizarre superhero reinterpretations as prints and postcards over at Etsy, so once you check out our favorites below, head there and buy something to encourage them to keep pumping out these modern classics.

FarmVille Superhero Costumes Pulled At the Request of DC Comics?
I have never played FarmVille. It must be a decent or highly addictive game because I am shocked by the amount of people that play FarmVille. I am not criticizing mind you. I've been addicted to Civilization, Sim City, Roller Coaster Tycoon to name just a few.
Apparently, A little while ago, FarmVille was offering costumes to its players, named, respectively SuperFarmvilleMan and SuperFarmvilleWoman. And now… it’s not. Not only are they not available to purchase, they have been removed from the accounts of those who bought them in return for refunds.
Games.com reports the following information about the removal of the "Super" FarmVille costumes:

The most obvious reason for these costumes being removed (while all other costumes are still available for purchase) is that Zynga received a knock on their door from DC Comics, who own the rights to Superman. Whether it was a phone call slap on the wrist or an actual Cease and Desist letter, we’re not sure… However, something fishy is definitely going on.What do you think? DC pull the plug? Do you care? Probably not but it's a slow news day.

Zack Snyder says "My Superman Will be Different" and "No General Zod"
Zack Snyder is learning from his producer Christopher Nolan when it comes to giving cryptic answers. He has even gone as far as to rule out a villain as Nolan did just last week with the Riddler.
Digital Spy reports on an interview with Empire:
"It's a different story," Snyder said. "I won't say there's a break from the canon or anything like that, but there is definitely an approach that makes you go, 'Okay, that's a way to get at it.'"
He continued: "David is very respectful of the canon and stuff like that. It has its roots in the canon and again, like I say, it has a point of view about who he is. I'm being cryptic, I know, but it's the best I can do."
Asked if his movie will track the Man of Steel's early years, Snyder replied: "I think it's early to say. I don't know."
The director also described rumours of the comic book hero facing General Zod as "just wrong", adding that "the internet has no idea what's going on". The truth hurts and I can't help agree that the "internet has no idea what's going on." Gfest is guilty as anyone of falsely publicizing the 'early years' storyline. We are just so excited for a Superman reboot that report any ounce of news we can find about the upcoming Zach Snyder movie.
Lastly, if by different Snyder means a super sexy Supergirl character, Kelli seems like a prime candidate.

Jim Lee Admits That He Has Trouble Drawing Superman
Jim Lee and DC Comics have a new book coming out entitled the ICONS: The DC Comics and Wildstorm art of Jim Lee. It looks like one heck of a cool book, and you should go buy it HERE.
As part of the promotion surrounding the new book, Jim Lee is being asked all of the typical questions that you would suspect. But he certainly surprised us with his answer to the question of which character he has had trouble drawing by answering Superman.
Getting a peek inside the mind of the greatest artist in comics today is always fascinating. To see more of his interview with MTV, click HERE.

LEE: Superman is the hardest character to draw. There are a couple of things that make him difficult. He’s got a very simple costume, and doesn’t have the long cape like Batman. He’s not a character that is necessarily always in shadow, and he doesn’t have a mask. He has to be Superman. He has to be the most grand, the most idealized form at all times, so he has to look powerful, but he can’t look bloated. His face has to look noble and handsome and rugged. It’s a war of subtleties. Every little change on that character makes a big difference in how he finally looks.Jim Lee's Superman drawing are nothing short of iconic, so it is a little more than surprising to hear him suggest that he struggles with him. You certainly wouldn't have guessed that based on the final product.
I think that I erase that character more than I draw that character, to be honest. He’s a character that doesn’t have the gloves, and doesn’t have the big boots, so you're really drawing sort of an idealized human form with a very simple costume. He’s got to be in a pose that suggests nobility. It's got to be a pose that suggests his idealized form, and it's tricky to do. Batman hunches over. He’s crouched and he’s in the shadows, so he’s in slightly more dynamic poses. Superman tends to stand very upright and he’s very symmetrical, and those are actually the most difficult poses for me to draw.

Zach Snyder Talks Superman Movie & Batman vs. Superman Possibility
In an interview with a British newspaper, the Superman Director Zach Snyder talks more about getting the job, working with Chris Nolan, Batman vs. Superman, it's association to past movies and the rumored $175 million budget...
Here are the main excerpts from The Daily Telegraph interview:
You’re directing the next Superman movie: that’s quite a gig. How do you feel about taking on the superhero that everyone loves?
It’s very exciting. Do I feel responsible? Look, as a fan, I want to make it awesome, so in that way I feel responsible. There’s an amazing film in there to be had, and I’m excited to get at it.
You’re working with Christopher Nolan, director of the last two Batman films. Is there a conflict of interest there? Batman v Superman?
He is a generous and amazing talent and as a producer super-supportive even in just the few weeks we’ve been talking about it.
What can you say about it at this stage?
Nothing. It’s very early in the process and it’s going to be famously guarded. So there’s very little to be said other than I’m a huge fan and I’m excited to get started on this.
It’s going to be a reboot of the franchise...
In the sense that it doesn’t really owe anything to what’s happened before cinematically.
And apparently you’re getting $175 million to play with...
I have no idea. Nobody has said anything to me about that, but I’ll quote that at them. It’s a good place to start in the negotiations.
I doubt Superman and Batman ever share the same screen because of the guidelines set by DC and Warner Brothers, but I would be lying if I told you I wasn't excited that Synder said, "we’ve been talking about it."
What do you think? Is there any realm of possibility Superman and Batman will be in the same movie.
