Is the World Ready For an Asian Version of Power Girl?

We're a sucker for a good Elseworlds tale, although we're also the first to admit that a really good one is a rarity.  But this gorgoeous artwork from VektorX73 provides an interesting concept.

Gfest knows that it's a bit of a rip off of the Superman: Red Son idea, but a tale of an Asian Power Girl becoming a hero in a society that has traditionally had different views concerning the role of women has the potential to be very interesting.

Also, we don't read much manga, but from what we've seen, there seems to be a growing problem of tentacle rape in the Asian countries.  Power Girl seems like the perfect hero to take on this problem.

Comic Book University Looks Hilarious and Awesome

Caldwell Tanner has come up with a hilarious set of cartoons imagining what life on campus would look like with superhero co-eds.  Gfest happens to think it looks awesome, hilarious and a lot of fun.  We particularly love Batman running pledge week.  I also think its strange that Superman apparently wears boxers underneath his briefs.
