Those focusing on the upcoming anniversary of D-Day may find this of great interest. Just don't let the critique of the "Band of Brothers" series affect your appreciation of it.

The passing this year of Maj. Dick Winters, CO of Easy Company in "Band of Brothers" makes us realize that few WW2 veterans are left with us and we have little time to honor them.
Perhaps this is one positive benefit of the "peace" movement and the likes of Code Pinkie types, that they have made us appreciate our veterans; warriors whose shoes the pacifists are not worthy to shine.
That some would honor the traitor Bradley Manning over those facing our murderous enemies makes me gag. The Tunnel Dweller.
